5G NR rem-example.cc query - Generating colorbar for the SNR heatmaps

Hi All,

I am investigating an indoor scenario at the 60 GHz frequency band with the 5G LENA module. 

I am modifying the rem-example.cc according to my investigation scenario and gathering the rem map. I would like to know if I can attach a color bar to the generated SINR, SNR, and IPSD heatmaps as shown in some of the 5G LENA documentation available online.

I have also attached a sample of my SNR heatmap below for reference.

Did you solve this, if yes could you share your solution with others? I thought that this bar is generated by default. Maybe is some different in gnuplot versions?

No, I was not able to solve this issue. I am still looking into it.

I am not understanding your question but if you want to have coordinates showing on your maps, perhaps you need to change your font. The default one us Helvetica but you can change it (in the "new-nr-rem-plot.gnuplot") to a font you have (e.g. Sans) using a sed command in your terminal.

Hi Rahul,

The color bar is generated by the script in the nr-radio-environment-map.cc. 

Have a look at it, whatever refers to as colorbar or cb, has to do with the colorbar. 

This colorbar is generated with all the heat maps generated with nr-radio-environment-map.cc.

Try to see if you have removed any of these lines, or changed the offset or the coordinates where the bar appears.
