REGISTRATION

If you plan to join us for a fun weekend of racing, please register now. So far we've got 4 boats signed up!

SCHEDULE

We officially have enough boats and volunteers for a full RC on Saturday! Sunday we plan to keep it simple by setting a windward mark and running rabbit starts off of the outfall buoy. Below is an outline of the regatta schedule:

Saturday, May 4, 2024

• 1000-1030 Registration/Check-in
• 1030 Competitor’s Meeting
• 1130 First Warning
• Additional races will follow the completion of the first race.

Social event and debrief following racing.

Sunday, May 5, 2024

• 0930 Meeting ashore with format TBD
• No warning signal will be made following 1500 on Sunday

STORAGE + WAIVER

• If you are arriving from out of town and plan to store your boat inside the CBC gate over the weekend, please print and complete the attached form and bring it the day you arrive in Bellingham. I need to get these forms to the CBC before your boat is stored in the yard. Just a reminder that it is $20/day. If you'd prefer to store your boat outside the CBC gate, the moorage agreement and fee are not required.

We've got 11 boats signed up for this weekend! Forecast is calling for great breeze and some rain - looking forward to getting out to do some fun racing followed by hot pizza and drinks at Miles and Elsa's house!

We have a race committee for Saturday but not for Sunday at the moment. Is anyone planning to only sail Saturday? The current plan for Sunday is to run rabbit starts off the outfall buoy up to a mark, but it would be great if someone wanted to hop in the mark boat to take pictures/coach and to be the rabbit. Please let me know if you're available to do this!

I'll be at the CBC Friday afternoon and if you're coming from out of town I'll help make sure your paperwork gets squared away for the CBC.

I mentioned it last night to some of fleet 35, but If anyone is looking for another fun evening activity Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday, my partner Mary is part of a spring circus show at the Bellingham Circus Guild space walking distance from the CBC between there and Miles and Elsa's place. Friday and Saturday shows are 6:00 and 9:00, Sunday shows are 3:00 and 6:00. They are kid friendly, though the late shows tend to be a little more rowdy. Hi all,

Looking forward to sailing and having you all over tomorrow! Tomorrow evening, please leave your car at the CBC and walk to our place if possible. Our address is 701 Wilson.  It’s a short walk.  Parking is limited in our neighborhood and will be more so since there is a circus show. 

Also, hopefully the weather cooperates and we can sit outside! If anyone can bring a couple lawn chairs that will help us have enough seating for everyone.
