Open vs Enclosed Trailers

There was some discussion on the Sailing Anarchy Melges 15 thread about multi-boat trailers, with this photo of an enclosed trailer having 3 boats, and mentioned putting a 4th on the roof.

Has anyone done something similar with 505s? I could see the potential appeal of an enclosed trailer. Mentioned in the thread was quicker loading, no need for covers, additional storage space, supposedly easier to hire drivers, and better resale potential.

Obviously there is the West Coast rig (which I have not actually seen myself), but has anyone tried it with a smaller trailer? Thoughts?

This is the UK rig, 5 boats, all outside but with a solid floor giving protection and easy load unload.
