I've had pretty good prints with TPU on my Ender 3 but haven't tried on my Centauri Carbon yet.  Never had any delamination issues and the prints are strong as hell.

Looks like I was printing 225 with the bed at 55, 95% flow rate and 50% cooling.  I had to print extremely slowly so that overhangs weren't complete ass.  I've printed Overture TPU white and black successfully.

I should pull out one of my spools and try on the CC to see what happens.

So - I'm trying to print this TPU part - and it's a New spool of filament. I printed a part with that TPU recently - and I noticed the bottom of the part had similar issues. Now - I really want to get it resolved - as I have another Special project for which I need GOOD Solid TPU printing!

First - some pics of the delamination (sorry for the pics being a bit fuzzy):

I am sure it's mostly a Temp issue. It's Inland TPU - says printing like 220-250. I used the standard settings for Elegoo TPU - as such:

I have honestly NOT printed that much TPU over the years. I gotta say - bed at 35 seems WAY COLD! Also - I'm guessing I should crank nozzle to like maybe 240.

What Say the Hive Mind on this subject matter???

Hey Bryan - thanks for the feedback and followup. If you DO a test on your Centauri - I'd love to hear the results. YEah - I think the bed temp of 35 seems WAY too Low!

I look forward to your next response. I even had problems with ABS - but, I will leave that for another thread. Will admit - just printing in PLA has been rather SWEET on your Carbon - things just WORK - I'm really QUITE Thrilled with this machine so far - other than the ABS issues - and my jamming up my hot end!

I printed a door stop.  Overture TPU black.  I used the default profiles, Elegoo TPU 95a and 0.20mm Standard @Elegoo CC 0.4 nozzle.  That means 225/35 temps, 2 wall loops, 15% rectilinear infill.

I'm not having any layer adhesion issues.  The first layer was a little sketchy but that could also be my z-offset.  The only real problem with it is some excessive stringing but I haven't tuned this filament yet.

I havent printed with TPU, my (knowing nothing) suggestion would be to start with a high quality fillament possibly one from the printer manufacturer.    If you see a problem with that fillament, contact the printer manufacturer support and ask for advice. (Can you tell I am a Prusa user),

Seriously - filament quality matters.  I do much better with Prusa’s PETG than PrintedSolids though with PLA both work fine for me.
The age and how the filament was stored before it gets to you also matter.

Hey Bryan - thanks again for your feedback. I'm glad that you have indeed gotten good results with the standard settings in Elegoo. Since, yeah - I used Exactly those settings. But, as we all know - filament formulations can differ between brands (Hell - it can differ between colors of the same brand and even potentially between same colors different spools of the same brand). So, it could simply be that the Inland just needs to print at a hotter temp...

It's possible that better filament brands may work better. But, generally speaking - I have not had the experience, over time, of issues with bad brands. Heck - when working at SD3D - we had a HUGE project to produce - and we got TONS of filament - of a Brand I never heard of before - and it was NOT a well known brand - FOR SURE - but, the filament worked well enough for our purposes - and it was DIRT Cheap!

Just sayin'...

I tried fine tuning my TPU settings this weekend and I ended up clogging the extruder.  I'm going to run a few test PLA prints to make sure everything is OK and try again.  I need another larger doorstop anyway so I'm motivated to figure this out.

Ouch - sorry to see you got your extruder clogged. That definitely kinda sucks!

I look forward to your next test outcome.
