Ray - one thing you left out, in regards to your question - do you want to know if times are Accurate for Single head printing -- OR -- for printing using AMS!?!?
As you can imagine - that's a HUGE Differentiator...
I asked a buddy of mine your question - and this was the answer:
- As far as I can remember the Bambu studio slicer I have found is only accurate (on the H2D) when using each nozzle with no filament changes. Aka the AMS really screws up the slicing time. But as a dual or single extruder, I've found it pretty accurate. And it copes with speed too. I've found in ludicrous speed (yes that's actually the name of the setting lol), so long as you ramp the temp up with it, it actually works great on solid non flimsy objects, so low and sturdy, not thin and tall. It hasn't quite figured out AMS timings yet, and it also doesn't pretend to, when using the AMS it freely says in the slicer, timings may not be accurate due to filament changes or something like that. So it's not hiding anything it says it upfront.
I pestered my friend, since I know you're a long time member of the forum here - and I really wanted to get you an answer - and I knew I could help get you a potential answer...
As an additional FYI - it's the SAME Issue I found with using Simplify3D on the Essentium printers! Now, that being said - it's Potentially possible in S3D to put in a tool change timing - and thus make things more accurate. And, who know (I surely DO NOT) - is maybe you could put some kind of Timing values into the Bambu Studio - for "tool changes" - and potentially get Better time estimates!
