Prusa Slicer raft....

I have rafts and brims turned off and still have to manually paint the raft or brim off. 

Could some tell me what I am missing?

I have found that, at least in PrusaSlicer a version or two ago, the brim checkbox on the Plater screen doesn't seem to override the setting on the Print Settings tab. I never use rafts, though.

I've never noticed a problem with Rafts being automatically generated. Also, Rafts are Very different than Brims. 

Have you tried a Google search to see if anyone else has had this problem before?

Rafts weren't being autogenerated. I had  them turned on and didn't realise.What worked in the end was to turn them on and turn off auto generated and enforce he few placed0  I wanted them...and voila.
