I had some time over the weekend, and decided to give the Roots Pot a go myself.
This is my version, printed in two colours (a brown "3D printing Filament" from TEMU, which I can only assume from the print temperature is PLA (because it didn't say), and eSun matte PLA light khaki. It is the first time I have tried the matte khaki, and I think it looks great - like unfired clay.
The actual roots part is printed using Full Spectrum using the other two filaments, but at 0.2mm layer height, which is tool high for an actual blending effect, but I had hoped that the light and dark contrast would give me a wood-looking effect. I'm going to give it some solid C or C+, especially for the way the roots look in the bottom tray.
Still, happy with the final product.
