Time for Gigapixel image to show in my account.

I uploaded a 3.3-gigapixel panorama via FTP approximately 24 hours ago. My logs confirm the transfer completed successfully, but the image has not yet appeared in my dashboard.
Could you please confirm if the file was received and advise on the expected processing time?

Hi Stephen, sorry about the issues you're having. The file uploaded successfully but our system was unable to process it for some reason and deleted it so we need to investigate. Please share a dropbox or similar link to the tiff file with me at sup...@360cities.net so we can have a look.

Hi Stephen,

We checked your TIFF file and found an issue “Sanity check on directory count failed, this is probably not a valid IFD offset.” There is some non-standard data in the file, perhaps injected by the editing software. We tried automatically fixing the metadata but that failed. We recommend that you try to convert from BigTIFF to standard TIFF and try again.

I have converted the file to TIF, there are two versions in the directory I previously shared.

You should be able to access them.

One uses ZIP compression and the other uses LZW compression.

Please let me know which works OK so I can use that format going forward.

Hi Stephen,

We checked both the LZW and ZIP versions of your gigapixel and both appear to be well formed. We suggest you upload the zip version as zip is considerably better supported than LZW.
