FTP upload not work, files uploaded but not processed and stay in the ftp

I just tried, all 12000 * 6000 panorama photo with around 30 Mb file size cannot be auto process thru ftp.

With the old 8000 * 4000 panorama photo with around 13 Mb file size can

Correct info is all 12000 * 6000 panorama photo with around 40 Mb file size cannot be auto process thru ftp.

While using webpage upload, all GPS data is not captured ....

Same 40Mb file I resave with compression to 10Mb then it works, seems file size problem

Hi Bruce,

Excellent and you may need to think in a alternate mindset for improvement (if you or 360cities intend to improve but seems not) :

1. As a user Im helping you or 360cities for bug fix, not keep mentioning you are helping

2. If you just ignore these bug fix or improvement comments, just let the bug in place and i cannot help you.

Hi,

I regularly use the FTP upload functionality. Just tested it for you. I used a 305 MB tif file:

Then I see this on the Pending page:

Then - just now - I saw this under the Unpublished panos:

The pano is correctly processed and rendered.

I got errors before for the below reasons - none of them were file size related:

1. The image is in jpeg2000 format, which is not supported. Actually this piece of information is there at the technical requirements - my bad

2. The image is in tiff format using the BigTIFF variant file format - this used to be a default tiff export option in Gimp. This seemingly is also not supported

3. The image contains an alpha channel - this is also listed at the technical requirements if I recall correctly - my bad
