Certainly 'Atleast one IAS from our family' would be the desire of most of us.
I met a friend of mine who has secured all India rank of 224.. He is just 2 yrs elder than me and he is now an IAS candidate.. I was totally inspired by the way he prepared and thought of sharing it to you..
Few snips of his journey
1. He Left his job which was paying him 30K per month
2. Joined chennai shankar IAS academy.
3. Prepared 10-14 hrs a day.
4. No distraction, no movie for 3 yrs, no outing with friends/family
5. he read all materials given in the academy atleast 3 times
6. Read newspaper top to bottom daily(1 hr)
7. took lot of mock tests
8. Cleared prilims in 1st attempt but lost mains
9. cleared mains but lost in interview in 2nd attempt
10 he cracked interview in 3rd attempt and he is what he wanted to be.
3 years of Patience and hardwork paid him...
1st attempt you will know where you stand..
2nd attempt you will know what to do..
3rd attempt you will achieve is what he says.
The number of attempts depends on our dedication and effort..
A walking example is always better than classic theories I bet..
If we can cultivate the importance of UPSC among our the kids and motivate them consistently I strongly hope they can crack the exams easily..
Our boys and gals are potential fellas is what I think..
Why always engineers,doctors and teachers..
Why not IAS, IPS and IFS..

Sorry if its too lengthy but I can only squeeze this much..
