NASA is saying this is a fraud. And that no satellite has ever lost its signal.

But NASA is just one letter away from NSA... both are known to lie...:-)

Dear Zakir,

i saw your posting on face book also regarding sani peiyarchi about Thirunallar.  We are following an astrologer named Dr. Balan Nair, He is now 81 years old. Five years back when we were having discussion about parikarams, he told Thirunallar temple is built in such a way that when saturn comes there the peiyarchi happens and one more thing buddies, it seems Rameshwaram is the best place for all kind of parikarams.  One cannot escape 71/2 years sani and astama sani, because Saturn is the master for poorva karma, Previous birth Sins is taught by Sani. I am not saying. What elder people told me i am mentioning here. 2 and 1/2 years astama sani is very dangerous, it will lead to criminal cases, separation from family, ill health, etc.  i have personal experience in that and i have personally seen persons suffering in that period.

We had a very good horoscope for our daughter, the boy was our relative, he was working in Australia, a software engineer, since two families known to each other, we were fine, when we took the horoscope to the above said astrologer, after seeing it , he closed it and gave it back to us saying amma இவனுக்கு அஷ்டமசனி ஆரம்பிக்குது. நம்ப 

குழந்தைக்கு எல்லாம் முடிந்து நல்ல யோகம் நடந்திட்டு  இருக்கு இது வேண்டாம்  அம்மா. He predicted this guy will lose his job will return to INDIA within a month or two, create a hell of problem in house, that is what really happening in his house, as said that guy came back to India,they became enemy to us since my wife did not agree for this alliance. Buddies please take care of Sani peiyarchi.  Sanipoll keduparum illai. Sani poll koduporum illai.

I see no difference between these and the Sani peyarchi stories you are talking about.

 

That temples were built and sites were chosen with some logic is undeniable – obviously, people had some reasons for doing things in a particular way. They were definitely scientific in those times. They had no idea that later experiments and results would render their reasoning meaningless does not reflect bad on them but on us when we want to see great ideas in them.

 

Nobody can ask why 1 over in has 6 balls – I believe this is because we have the mumoorthies who rule the world and they put together have 6 of YKW.

Nobody asks why the tennis court is exactly that much wide – probably, we can do a lot of research, assume a lot of things, apply some law of averages and say that it is exactly so much wide because that is what a normal man can run in x milliseconds.

 

Our brains are tuned to see patterns since only by seeing a pattern we can predict what can happen and maybe prepare for action. Moreover, most of the time the mechanism is hypothesizing and looking for confirming evidence – this explains the success of our religions.

 

Sani pudicha ennagumo, sali pudicha kashtapadarathu sure – adhavadhu, sani rendu edam thalli pudicha kashta kaalam dhan ( L is two letters before N)

Ramraj, here goes: Please go back and check how many of the predictions became wrong. You can also predict constantly, and on an average, if you use totally random ideas for prediction, 50% of your prediction will come true – you can then assign it to Anand and his Great Rose Dev!

There is a clear connection between planets and what happens to our lives. Not only in Hindu astrology but also in Western astrology have these things come true.. I am a Scientist or Quality Engineer by profession and while I do not believe in what I don't see I am forced to believe the connection since I see that happening. 

The point is not something happening 50%. It happened exactly as was predicted in this marriage alliance case. Tell me how that can come under some random nonsense, as you say.

See daaa, many people have predicted many things. When a leading astrologer (Vaideeswaran Koil)  I know met my cousin and his son 2 years ago , at that time, the kid was suffering from some stomach ailment. He had one look at him and said the kid is suffering from gastric infection since he went to a marriage ( how the hell could he know all this, don't wisecrack, tell me seriously) and he will get cured soon. Not to worry. That was the FIRST SENTENCE he said.  Of course, now that astrologer has gone to Gujarat and he is minting money there, I heard.

Vaidhi, he did not talk about studies or anything. He said kuzhandhai horoscope is showing this...This is the first thing I want to say.

Vaiidhi the business of an astrologer is to predict. And if he predicts well, how can we accuse him of failure?> Meaning, then what will you say is success?

A challenge for you and me , Take a few horoscopes of a boy and girl, calculate, if there is Raghu or Kethu in the 7th or 8th house from the house of Lagna, definately that marriage would have taken place at the age of 19 or 20 for boy, 17 or 18 for girl, or otherwise it will cross 27 for a girl  and 30 years for a boy, I personally have experienced thousand's of horoscope because we were 3 persons in a row searing alliance for our children one finished last year, one finished last month, finally me waiting.

Nagaratar friends will be very helpful to you.I was running was R K TRAVELS, he was the responsible to change it to R K TRAVEL SERVICE and add my wife as my partner, amazing things happened, we are still now recognized in the city and i was an contractor for IOC S.R.for 23 continuous years without any remark,even now they are calling us to participate in the tender. I don't want to name the VIP'S traveled in the car.but unfortunately that Parthasarathy wife is a greedy lady and use to over charge on question basis, he use to tell us  tell one question and come up, i will detail you,

Sorry boss, belief does not fly - it is not a matter of belief, it is a
matter of a con-job!
This way anything can be a matter of belief!
In my opinion, the astrologers should be made to accompany this following
caution with their predictions:

"Whatever is said herein is purely based on chance and may nor may not truly
happen. Basing your action on these predictions can cause problems to you
and your stakeholders"

Just like on Cigarette packets, schedule drugs etc. There must a morbid
photograph of a person dying in an accident with a caption "He walked across
the road without looking left or right because his astrologer told him he
will live for 100 years more".

In god's case, I would definitely agree that the utility of the concept is a
matter of belief!

One very good thing about our HM Parthasarathy was he once told in school quadrangle... studying in a silent atmosphere is not concentration. Studying with the trains/buses/ noise around you is concentration.
