Sink backing up and leaking

Hi everyone,

My kitchen sink is filling up with water, and the wall behind the sink is leaking. (Currently waiting for maintenance to come over.) Is anyone else — especially anyone else in the 06 or 05 tower — experiencing something similar? (The sink drains if I run the disposal, but then it immediately fills up with about two inches of standing dirty water.)

Also, general FYI, the new emergency maintenance phone number just redirects you to call the property manager or use the portal. I told Nicholas the property manager, and he said he’d figure it out.

Ugh sorry to hear that! Oscar the maintenance guy is working on snaking out the drain down here to get whatever stubborn block it is out. Hopefully that’ll get everything moving again!
