You are invited to take part in this "Ode to the Arts Project", whose deadline is JANUARY 31

As usual:

Only the registered poets can submit their poetry for the editorial project, therefore ask for registration to this Group / Forum :

Each registered poet has to submit, through the FORUM EMAIL : 11-ode-to-the-arts @googlegroups.com

1 Poem -- ONLY ONE --

no longer than 25 lines
with no more than 70 characters per line spaces included

DEADLINE : January 31

when you send the poem, be sure to use a new (fresh) email -- do not reply to any previous email --
As 'subject', write: " poetry submission by (your name) ".
This way, the Forum will stay in order. Thank you.

As the title reads, "ODE TO THE ARTS" is about .. ARTS! 😉 Thus, if you comply and remain faithful to the classical definition of 'ARTS', you can send a poem on any kind of Art you love.. from Poetry to Music, from Painting to Dance...

BUT, BEFORE SENDING YOUR SUBMISSION, BE SURE YOUR POEM FITS THE TOPIC:

**do not send poems where just 'general' references to 'Arts' can be found**.

ALL THE UNFIT POEMS WILL BE DISCARDED AFTER DEADLINE.

the new entries have to add a BIOGRAPHY no longer than 200 words, written in 1st person, stating clearly:

First name
Family name
Nationality
Country + Year of birth
City/Country where currently living

Note: for publishing and copyright issues, we need to know the real name of all the poets.

The copyright of the poems will remain in the hands of their authors, but all participants will accept to make us free to publish the book at no cost and without any other obligation on our part than to publish the poems selected (the acceptance of this point will be attested, by each participant, by simply sending their poems).

NO FEES are requested.

A Judging Committee will decide if the poems are worthy to be accepted for publication.

11. Ode to the Arts
