Hi all,

Recently I am not able to build XNAT. I get the following error:

Attempting to download commons-jelly-tags-xml-20030211.142705.jar.
Error retrieving artifact from [http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/maven/commons-jelly/jars/commons-jelly-tags-xml-20030211.142705.jar]: java.io.IOException: Unknown error downloading; status code was: 301
WARNING: Failed to download commons-jelly-tags-xml-20030211.142705.jar.
Attempting to download commons-jelly-tags-interaction-20030211.143817.jar.
Error retrieving artifact from [http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/maven/commons-jelly/jars/commons-jelly-tags-interaction-20030211.143817.jar]: java.io.IOException: Unknown error downloading; status code was: 301
WARNING: Failed to download commons-jelly-tags-interaction-20030211.143817.jar.
The build cannot continue because of the following unsatisfied dependencies:

commons-jelly-tags-xml-20030211.142705.jar (try downloading from http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/jelly/libs/xml/)
commons-jelly-tags-interaction-20030211.143817.jar

I could reproduce this on another system by removing the local .maven directory.
Not sure if this is a recent problem.

ns-jelly-tags-xml-20030211.142705.jar' gives (in summary):

> GET /pub/mirrors/maven/commons-jelly/jars/commons-jelly-tags-xml-20030211.1427
05.jar HTTP/1.1
> User-Agent: curl/7.30.0
> Accept: */*
>
< HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
< Location: /maven/commons-jelly/jars/commons-jelly-tags-xml-20030211.142705.jar

< Content-Length: 0

project.properties contains:

So the new directory is actually already linked to in the last URL. Not sure why it does not work.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Erwin

Running $ curl -v http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/maven/commons-jelly/jars/commons-jelly-tag
s-xml-20030211.142705.jar gives a HTTP 404 error, so probably that is the problem.

Is there another repository with the required maven libraries?

Hey Erwin,

Modify your project.properties to use this instead:

maven.repo.remote=https://nrgxnat.artifactoryonline.com/nrgxnat/xnat-maven1,http://maven.xnat.org/xnat-maven1

Right now, the first repo doesn’t have any artifacts in it because something went screwy with the import operation to that server, but I intend to get that working soon. The second server has the full XNAT maven1 repo available on it, but can be a bit undependable. Between the two, you should be able to resolve the dependencies.
