Open Friends and Colleagues,
I hope that all is well. First, apologies for any cross postings.
Second, I'll just ask the question directly... Does anybody know of any higher education providers that have included openness in their curriculum?
Third, I would like to mention a project that is underway called “The Free, Libre, and Open Works Syllabus, or "The FLOW Syllabus",” which is hosted by the Open Source Initiative (OSI). The purpose of the project is to adapt, develop and disseminate modular learning resources to help managers of projects, portfolios, organizations or consortia gain an advanced understanding of strategies, processes and methods to optimize value, to control costs, and to manage risk through effective coordination, resourcing and governance of Free/Libre/Open Works (FLOW). The Educators Working Committee is one of four planned committees within the broader project and is concerned with promoting FLOW in education, sharing FLOW resources with teachers for use in classes and facilitating the open exchange of teaching practice and course materials related to FLOW, and enhancing The FLOW Syllabus as a resource to support all of these efforts.

About the "FLOW" acronym
http://wiki.opensource.org/bin/Projects/About+FLOW+and+RENT+Relationships
The Educators Working Committee is starting its effort by trying to identify college and university programs and courses with components that explicitly educate about FLOW concepts, methods and processes. Although we are happy to learn about any work in any discipline, we are focusing on computer science, programming, and project management.
We intend to learn more about how FLOW topics are introduced to the curriculum, who has them embedded, and how the topics are embedded. We are soliciting any information about
We are also soliciting interest in participation in enhancing the FLOW Syllabus and/or participating in the FLOW Educator's Working Committee. If you would like to learn more feel free to visit the support sites as linked above, or email me at ken....@usq.edu.au
