Weekday or Weeknight Rides or Events
Wed., Jan 1st - Snowball Express Ride - Winchester, VA. Come out for this traditional New Year's Day ride (traditionally led by laid-up ride leader, Mike Perry). Chris Massonneau is leading for 2014. Ride departs at 11 00AM from James Wood Middle School. Length of the ride will be 25-35 mile ride depending on conditions.
Wed.,, Jan 1st - WWRT Meeting - Winchester, VA. Exact time TBD as it will follow the Snowball Express Ride. The meeting is for those interested in determining the future state of the Winchester Wheelmen Race Team (a.k.a. WWRT). The meeting location is the Daily Grind on Jubal Early Drive, Winchester, VA.
Retired/Day Off Ride of the Week
This is an easy paced ride starting at various locations. Ride length is between 20 to 30 miles usually with a lunch stop at the finish (optional). (No ride leaders here, just advisors.) This week's ride meets on Thursday at 10:00AM at the following location:
Jan 2nd---Meet at Panera Bread, Winchester, VA.
Thurs., Jan 2nd - Night Road Ride - White Post, VA. This ride is a "go" unless there is rain or snow. Ride starts from White Post Restorations. Ride departs promptly at 6:00PM. Average speed is 15-17mph. Front and rear lights/reflective clothing mandatory. No ride leader.

Weekend Rides or Events
If you have a weekend ride, please post it to the WW Google Group. Why not have more riders along who are looking for your ride? Be descriptive, and the "right" group will turn out.
Sat., Jan 4th - MTB Ride - Andy Guest Shenandoah River State Park - Bentonville, VA. Join Robert Golightly for an easy to moderate MTB ride. Meet at the parking lot for the Massanutten Shelter Parking Area for an 11:00AM start. Entry fee is required ($4); season pass is available.
