Hi All

To contrast with my pic of L408 NUA the other day, here is the second step-entrance bus to appear on the X52 service (Rhyl - Denbigh) this week. It is sister Volvo B10B / Wright L409 NUA (fleetnumber SB30), the former Arriva Yorkshire 409, and is seen in the same location as L408 NUA, at Rhyl Promenade bus terminus in even more unseasonal weather than Monday, this time wind and rain. This vehicle carries standard GHA single deck fleet livery as opposed to Connexxions green/cream. A ride was sampled and I noticed the bus had tones of a Leyland Lynx!

I'd imagine the "tones of a Leyland Lynx" would be the gearbox. Very characteristic indeed.
