Like the picture, like the colours but don't like cart outfit. How about 20697 in this livery as opposed to camp green?

Good idea Anthony but keep an eye on your asa setting if the vehicle is on the move otherwise you'll end up with an abstract painting.

Watch out for the Mr Jobsworth that'll wait for the flash to go and play hell with you for blinding the driver. Lol.

Hi

Thanks Martin, I have found this problem when photographing trains, normally I have to take at least 3 shots as one of them normally comes out ok.

As for Jobsworths fair play I havent had  to many problems when photographing buses although I have had a few in the past which I have mentioned on here.

thank you

anthony

In this case 'Mr Jobsworth' would be right. You should not use flash when photographing buses in service (and you will get much better shots without anyway). Just find something to rest the camera on to keep it steady and take a longer exposure.

Err, I think you have misinterpreted what I've tried to put across. When peoples see a camera point in darkness, they have an expectation to see a flash go off, when in actual fact by using a say 6400asa setting, no flash would be normally necessary for a moving vehicle. I certainly agree with you that flash photography shouldn't be used at all and railways certainly make this point in their guidelines for enthusiasts.
