I didn't know Veolia Cymru had any of these, one of my favourite types
of decker! It looks very smart. Where is it based?

Unique in the fleet, it's currently based at Abercraf depot, but was
previously at Treforest.

"It looks very smart"? Are you joking? lol. I'm just grateful my local route gets the 3 or 4 modern ones there instead of anything else because they're wrecks.

No I'm not joking, it looks very smart - (for its age lol). Maybe I'm
biased because I have always liked the type. Even the livery is not
unlike the London General livery it would have carried in the Capital,
just needs the thin yellow stripe. It will be a shame when all these
classic buses bite the dust, they are already very thin on the ground.
They have a certain quirky character unlike some modern types I could
name. Very interesting to know Veolia Transport Wales have one!

A couple more shots of Veolia's Volvo Citybus when employed on Park & Ride duties in dusty conditions at last August's Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale.

Oh don't get me wrong, they're great in good condition (well any bus is great in good condition but it's hard to come by nowadays). Veolia just don't look after their vehicles and they end up looking tatty.

Very nice Barrie. I would have been hanging back in the queue to make
sure I caught this one lol

Point taken, though I have seen *some* smart Veolia vehicles down in
Cardiff/Pontypridd!
