How to Increase Google Adsense CTR?
1. Always post ads on content rich pages this will help you immensely, idea is to give adsense chance to work with keywords of your site content and produce high paying ads.
2. Place ads in a way that you don’t have to use words like “Sponsored Links” and “Advertisements” above Adsense code. We know that we cant out Adsense right below the blog post title and if you want to put Adsense below post title you will have to put “Advertisements” word above ads. SO better is to make some kind of separation between post title and ads.
3. Always place ads above the fold which means that user should not have to move down for ads. This will give maximum ads visibility to user and greater chance to get more clicks.
4. Don’t mix the ads totally in the content make sure there is some free space around the ads.
5. Always do experiments with the placement of Adsense on you site. Because you don’t know what works best for a particular site. You can track the with Adsense channels to know which placement works best.

Indian Rupee Gets a New Currency Symbol India’s currency, the rupee, now has its own symbol, thanks to Indian Institute of Technology post-grad D Udaya Kumar, whose design was chosen in a national contest. Kumar will get an award of Rs 250,000, nearly $5,400–and India will get a new currency symbol.
The new symbol is a mix of Devanagri ‘Ra’ and Roman ‘R’. Ambika Soni, Information and Broadcasting Minister said after a cabinet meeting to the reporters that the symbol will be printed on Indian currency notes and coins.
The new symbol, designed by Bombay IIT post-graduate D Udaya Kumar, was approved by the cabinet today — reflecting that the Indian currency, backed by an over-trillion dollar economy, was finally making its presence felt on the international scene.
Though the symbol will not be printed or embossed on currency notes or coins, it would be included in the 'Unicode Standard' and major scripts of the world to ensure that it is easily displayed and printed in the electronic and print media.
Among currencies with distinctive identities, only the pound sterling has its symbol printed on the notes.
Unicode is an international standard that allows text data to be interchanged globally without conflict. After incorporation in the global and Indian codes, the symbol would be used by all individuals and entities within and outside the country.
The symbol will be adopted in a span of six months in the country, and within 18 to 24 months globally, Soni said, adding that it will feature on computer keyboards and softwares for worldwide use.

Apple has announced a press conference on Friday to address iPhone 4 issues.
Many iPhone 4 owners has comlained the signal starts showing fault if the device’s bottom left corner is covered by the palm of the user’s hand and this situation is common if it’s handled by lefties.
Consumer reports suggest the problem arises because clutching the phone in such a manner covers a small gap.
Updates from Information Week -Consumer report staffer Reynolds told “The bumper, which wraps around the phone’s exterior, works by insulating the antenna from human contact. “In the earlier tests without a bumper, signal strength on the iPhone 4 dropped significantly each time a finger was placed over the gap.”
Although bumper may help in low signal problem but bumper is a not cheap accessory. Apple is selling the bumpers for USD 29.

If you have Decided to put Mehndi (henna) on your hands then keep in mind important steps before and After should be taken into consideration
Prepare Your Henna(Mehndi)
I have found a few simple things will help you get the most from your pre-mixed henna paste. First make sure it is completely mixed. During shipping the henna will sometimes separate, resulting in too thick henna, watery henna, and/or a poor stain. It is very important to knead your cone or tube completely re-mixing the henna.
I also like to add a bit of lavender oil and lemon juice to my henna. I just learned a new trick that I love! Add a touch of table sugar to your henna and mix it in. It will make your henna very silky and will allow it to stay moist longer.
Tip: Knead your henna well, than transfer it to a Jacquard applicator bottle (Jody from Beachcombers introduced me to this, and it is a life-saver!). This little "magic bottle" as I call it, makes applying henna a breeze. The trick is to keep it filled. If it starts to become empty, you will have to squeeze to hard and your hand will cramp. Here is a full set of applicator bottles that they offer.
Update!!!!! Check out these new Moroccan applicator bottles with stainless steel tips! Oh my gosh, they are even better than the Jac bottles! The henna just slides right through the tip and they are super easy to use. The tips switch out even easier than the Jac bottle tips, AND they offer both 1/2 oz bottles & 1 oz bottles. Thanks again, Jody! They are my new favorite applicators.
Prepare Your Hand
Wash in hot soapy water. Do not use a lotion based soap, use something that will strip the oil from your hand. I find that dish soap works very well. After you have dried your hand clean it with rubbing alcohol or astringent (Sea Breeze, Which Hazel), this will really help your color to take.
Apply Your Henna Paste
Create your henna design. Instructions should be included with your henna paste. Thicker lines in your design will leave longer-lasting darker color. Thin delicate designs will leave lighter color and will fade more quickly, so you may want to start off with nice thick heavy designs. The more delicate designs dry too fast, and the color doesn't get a chance to penetrate very far into the skin.
After applying your henna tattoo design you can just let it dry and flake it off and be finished, or if you want better color that lasts longer, you can seal your design. If you let it dry and flake it off, leave the henna on for as long as possible. Try for at least 2 hours. After you flake off the dried henna, DO NOT WASH OR WET your hand. Apply mehndi oil over the complete design. Your henna tattoo color will darken over the next day or two. Here are some tips for helping your henna tattoo last longer.
Seal Your Henna Tattoo Design
This is the only way to get really good dark color. There are many different ways to seal your henna, but they all do basically the same thing. They protect your henna and keep it moist longer so that the henna dye has a chance to seep into the skin and leave a deeper stain. All sealant methods should be done when the henna is set (dry to the touch) but before it is completely dry and flaking off.
Lemon and Sugar Sealant
This is my favorite. It is easy and cheap (just don't use it outside because it attracts insects - don't ask how I know!). Mix equal parts lemon juice and sugar together. The easiest way is to heat it on the stovetop and then let it cool down. Very carefully apply the cooled mixture over your henna design (a Q-Tip or a cotton ball work well). Be very careful that you don't disturb the henna tattoo and that your mixture is not too watery as it will make the design run.
Now you have to apply heat. Use a blow dryer to dry the sealant completely. To darken the color further, use a candle or a blow dryer and apply as much heat as you can stand for as long as you can stand for about 2 hours in intervals of about 20-30 minutes apart. It's amazing how much darker this can make your henna tattoo.
When you are ready, gently scrap off the dried henna using your finger nail or a butter knife. Very gently rub off the sugar lemon mixture using henna oil or olive oil. Apply a layer of mehndi oil. Avoid washing your hand for as long as possible.
Liquid Latex Sealant
This is more expensive and requires a trip to the store, but it doesn't attract bugs if you are outside. Some people are allergic to latex, so those people should not use this method. Carefully apply liquid latex to your henna with a Q-Tip or brush. Blow dry it until completely dry.
When you are ready, peel the liquid latex off (it may rip out some hair) and add mehndi oil over your design.
There are many other sealant methods, but these are the ones I've used. After you have sealed your henna you can put lightweight cotton gloves (or old socks) on to protect the seal and allow you to go about your day. You can also sleep with these on (make sure they are not so heavy that you sweat).

Vodafone: Second/paisa (only for prepaid customers). The call charges are same to the same network and for other network it was 1.2 paisa.? Recharge of Rs.50/Rs.70 bonus card is compulsory.
Airtel: To jump into second plan we have to pay Rs.58 with which we get Rs.50 as talk time and for post paid the rent is Rs.200. The call charges are same to the same network and for other network it was 1.2 paisa. The validity of the prepaid card is one year and for local sms it charges one rupee. For post paid it was 50paisa for local sms and 3hrs free talk time and free 150 local sms.
Aircel :The entry charges for prepaid is Rs.49 with zero talk time and it was paisa only for any network either STD/Local and for the first 8hrs applicable for STD calls if it crosses the charge was 2paisa.
Tata Docomo : The prepaid card is Rs.49 with zero talk time, local or STD charge is second/paisa where as first 7.5 hrs applicable to STD and if crosses 2 paisa / second. For post paid the rental is Rs.299 and one paisa is applicable for post paid plans Rs.799 and Rs.1099 and for STD paisa/second and 150 local calls and 500 local sms are free.
Reliance: IT has second/paisa? and 50 paisa /minute plan in which all the local calls for all networks is the same charge. It is applicable even for roaming calls too.
BSNL: Its plan is second/paisa for prepaid only. For the same network the call charges are one paisa/second (local/STD) where as for other networks it is 1.2 paisa. We get one year validity for Rs.45 recharge card.
Idea: Its plan is second/paisa for prepaid only and for all the networks and STD calls the charges are applicable. With the recharge of Rs.49, for the first 3 sms it charges 60paisa and next 100 local sms are free where as for international sms it is Rs.1.20

Metaweb, a company that offers the integration of information from databases to other sites, just announced its acquisition by Google. This has been confirmed on the official Google blog.
This has been done to improve the performance of its search engine. The Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The director of product development, Google, Jack Menzel, the official blog of the group said, “By working together we want to improve research and making the Internet a richer and more meaningful for all.”
Metaweb, is San Francisco company which was founded in 2005 and supported by Goldman Sachs and particularly the fund Benchmark Capital, manages a database of “more than 11 million items: movies, books, television, celebrities , places, companies etc., “says Google. It sells its services to websites to make them “richer and more attractive, allowing them to give to” a simple way to access external information from reputable sources like the New York Times or Twitter.
Menzel said the database, called Freebase, Google will help answer tough questions. “Google and Metaweb plan to maintain Freebase as a free and open database for the world.”

Panda USB Vaccine: The problem with AUTORUN feature, widely critizised by the security community, is used by malware in order to spread by infecting as soon as a new USB drive is inserted in a computer.
Due to the large amount of malware-related problems associated with Microsoft AutoRun Panda Security Research created a free utility called Panda USB Vaccine.
Panda USB Vaccine can be used on individual USB drives to disable its autorun.inf file in order to prevent malware infections from spreading automatically.
Once executed the user can choose two types of vaccinations: Computer Vaccination or USB Drive Vaccination. USB Vaccine allows users to vaccinate their PCs in order to disable autorun completely so that no program from any USB/CD/DVD drive can auto-execute. This is a really helpful feature as there is no user friendly and easy way of completely disabling autorun on a Windows PC.

Sony announced a new addition to their wide range of MP3 players, the Walkman E450 which is a video- and MP3 player with 2″ QVGA LCD display, available in five cool colors and three different memory options being 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.
A fully charged battery will last you 50 hours of music playback and up to 10 hours video. The battery can be recharged up to 80% in just an hour and a half.

IBM reported steady second quarter earnings today, with net income rising 9 percent compared to the second quarter of 2009, to $3.4 billion. Big Blue’s diluted earnings increased 13 percent to $2.61 per share compared with diluted earnings of $2.32 per share in the second quarter of 2009, beating the street estimate of $2.58 per share.
