I recently flashed SECN-2_0_1-GA01 on Nanostation M2 Loco but under asterisk I cannot set the softphone support to client.
Is this a bug or is it because I am not using the original mesh potatoes?
The attached picture shows what I see when I go under the Asterisk config.

Hi Manfred

Softphone Client mode is only used for the MP with a built in FXS facility.

This mode allows the FXS to interoperate with softphone devices.

So there's really no point in me turning on the Asterisk as these devices don't even have a port for me to plug an analog phone?

Hi Manfred

Asterisk is provided on these devices basically for use as a Softphone Master node if required.

If you are not using that then you are correct - there is no real point in having Asterisk enabled.

Terry
