Arriving from another topic (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/video-downloadhelper-internationalization/S6WPijLAR9M)...

I've tried to improve the existing (deployed) Portuguese translation.
What have I done: (so the portuguese speakers understand allowing them to continue to improve this update)
- Removed almost all the english untranlated words like download - it can be translated to "transferência", "transferir" or "baixar" context dependant albeit I prefer "transferência" and "transferir"
- Normalized the reference to the coApp - Appears several times with diferent names "Aplicação da companhia" (literal translation done by Google?), "Aplicativo auxiliar" (I've used this one) and "Complemento" (which as no meaning by itself)
- Renamed  the "diretório" translation of folder to "pasta" - Used since the beginning of the graphics interfaces by the microsoft O.S. and Linux (all flavours).
- Corrected some typos and gender agreement expressions ('concordância de géneros') which all latin derived languages use.

And again, thank you all for the great work.

This is excellent ! Many thanks for your work !

Just to make sure how i should merge this translation: do we agree it applies to the current Portuguese version of VDH, which happens to be pt_BR ?

Hi,

Is a pt_BR version! All the phrasing was kept intact (except for the typos and gender agreement expressions).
I've respected the existing translations.
I've noted that the translation were made with the help of many. The phrasing have different styles, some made by Portuguese, many by Brazilians. I can point some of the european phrasing (the suspected ones) so a brazilian can validate or correct those. I'm not confortable doing that myself because I can make idiomatic errors involuntarily (as a native european portuguese speaker). The moment you guys think the pt_PT deserves a go, I can make all the reverse adaptation in a couple of hours - or a little bit more :p

I've asked for Twitter help to get validation from a Brazilian user. Hope someone from Brazil will show up to acknowledge the update.
