Authenticating with SSO to query API

I am creating a simple objective-c Mac App that needs access to VersionOne data.  We are using SSO to authenticate with the VersionOne application.  How can I integrate this into my application?  I am having trouble figuring out how to authenticate correctly.  Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.  Once I am able to authenticate, the rest of the app will be easy to create.  Thanks!

In short, the answer is to use VersionOne Access Tokens.
