Hi,

At first I'd like to compliment you on this great piece of work! I've been looking some time for an effective and good looking timeline, even tried to build one myself, but hey, the job's already done!

My question: is it possible to enter the timeline based on a variable (i.e. http:/somesite.com/timeline.html?date=05042012 will call the timeline-script starting on may 4th, 2012)?

No, but you can use # for directly linking to slides. For example index.html#5 will go to the 6th slide counting from 0.
