Hi Everyone,

Happy Holidays!

It seems VA Smalltalk V8.5 contains older Seaside support apps (like SstActor and other Sstxxx apps) than V8.0.3.  Is this intentional?  Did I install something wrong?

I wonder if it's a similar issue to that discussed in https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/va-smalltalk/dQWBxugdWuU ?

I just did a virgin setup of Seaside in 8.5, and got SstActors V 8.0.2, but that's the most recent version in my repository.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the reply.  I think you are correct, that it is the same problem.  I now remember reading that thread but forgot about it until you pointed me to it.  My V8.0.3 lib has SstActors app V8.0.3, the only object that looks different from my V8.5 lib is SstActor class.  In V8.5 it is V8.0.2 in V8.0.3 it it V8.0.3.  I filed it out from both libs and compared the sources and they are identical.  So, I think Johns explanation is correct, the code is the same but some things got new versions that shouldn't have.
