Tags of European Portuguese dictionaries

Hello,

I am using the dictionaries, European Portuguese, developed for UNITEX and would like to know if there is a manual that describes the labels used in this dictionnary.

I noticed that some of the tags used in this dictionnary are different from those used by the Brazilian Portuguese dictionaries. I would like to know if there is a descriptive document of the labels used in European Portuguese.

My main question is about the number "4" present on some tags. For example:

yours, my.DET + Pos: 2pms: 4pms
Yours, my.PRO + Pos: 2pms: 4pms

I understood that 2pms = Second singular male person. But 4pms I don't understand.

Dear Janaína

At the time this dictionary was developed, it was deemed relevant to explicitly indicate the  form of address by 'você' (a pronoun that triggers the 3rd person-singular (3s) verbal agreement but that corresponds to a 2nd person-singular (2s) form of address. This is a situation similar to SP 'usted' (3s=2s) ; or in a formal way, but with different grammatical values the FR 'vous' (2p=2s). To distinguish this way of address, a 4th person was devised, hence the '4'. Some linguistic evidence supports this decision: Usually the verb forms marked '4' are the same as those marked '3', but there are several verbal inflexions where this is not the case. However, the phenomenon is very regular.
