I just finished a rebuild of my port reverse rotating engine and suddenly realize the port engine is normally standard rotation and the starboard engine is the reverse
Was this the " norm on unifltes or do I have an enigma??? I never thought about till now.... the cam is gear to gear so I know the engine was spinning reverse when I pulled it out. the vessel is a 32 single station 1978.... engine is in and about to fire it up today and went huh.

F. Y. I. My old '63 OWENS with small block chevies was Port gear to Gear (Reverse) and Starboard was Standard. NO "V" box, Straight out.

My 48ft Uniflite Detroit Diesels Port CCW, Starboard CW. I think. That does NOT agree with Props coming up in the middle. Hmmm Disregard most of this babbel.
