Buried in a comprehensive Joel Mac interview on Wa(r)shington LGBT site MetroWeekly (link)... the cast's contracts ran out, and Yahoo apparently couldn't afford any more.

Meanwhile, Dan Harmon is making a pilot for IFC called "Great Minds," which sounds like a parody of Steve Allen's old "Meeting of the Minds" (which was played seriously, remember)--Harmon hosts a panel discussion with comics portraying historical figures:

Also on the IFC development docket:  A late-night talk show with Jim Norton and "1320 Seconds," a newsmag parody with a virtually all-female reporting staff, from a writer for "Super Sloppy Celebrity Double Dare with Jimmy Fallon."

1320 seconds = 22 minutes, which begs the question of whether the CBC is involved and how long it will take them to sue if they aren't.

Hey, I've been waiting to see if Amy Goodman ("Democracy Now!") is going to sue IFC, Fred Armisen and Seth Meyers over the title of their "Documentary Now!" parody series, which starts in a few weeks with your host Dame Helen Mirren.
