Speaking of Colbert running long -
This week's "Selected Shorts" podcast from PRI is Colbert reading Flannery O'Connor's "The Enduring Chill."
The episode runs 1 hour and 4 minutes, which is too long to fit onto the 55-minute broadcast, so it's only available on the podcast.
(I'm about ten minutes into it, and I like it - it's always good to hear him in a mostly-dramatic mode.)
