News depts unite to clash with The Donald

In an incident captured on video Friday, Trump's campaign manager threatened to pull a CNN reporter's credentials after he went outside the campaign's designated media area to cover a protest at a Trump rally... now news managers from there and the four network news orgs were to meet today to figure out how to respond...

If a presidential candidate isn't covered by any media, if social media closes his accounts for being racist and offensive, if the public openly spits on him as he crosses the street... the GOP would still refuse to give him up. As a result, the response of the media is to keep covering the guy... the current meme over on the Twitter is how CNN refuses to use the word "lie" to describe several lies Trump got caught up in over the weekend (he "transcended the truth"). So to hell with it; let 'em all choke on the guy.

The news managers agreed, per Politico (link), to disagree, and to "work through their issues" with the campaign manager.
