THR: Fox, Time Warner, and Comcast all being taken to task (link) as investors in FanDuel and DraftKings, accused illegal-gambling operators at the wrong end of a major class action; and now-pro signal-caller Jameis Winston (his Tampa Bucs are in Philly to battle the Iggles) fixes to sue CNN (link) for defamation should it air The Hunting Ground, about the rape case against Winston in his college years...

It is worth noting for the record in this thread (and probably would have been worth noting in the THR article itself) that John Oliver shined a bright light on the cesspool of conflicted interest and potential corruption represented by these newer short term fantasy sports leagues, and (IMO) effectively   skewered the claim that these are not betting sites. Oliver did note that whichever of the two major groups is owned in part by ESPN was a major sponsor of the recent World Series of Poker, but he did not note an even more damning piece of data, which is that one of the "November 8" in the Main Event of the WSP (I think he finished #4) was a young and likable former professional poker player who was retired because he was able to make more money playing the new sports fantasy leagues.
