A man of many voices, so many he was among Mel Blanc's successors at Warners, along with Grandpa Pickles on Rugrats and its TV and movie spinoffs; I'd first seen him as Beano in the syndicated '80s sitcom Out of This World... his Jackie Gleason impersonation was featured in at least one episode of that, and he told Splitsider (link) Gleason hired him to patch missing Ralph lines in the lost Honeymooners episodes, but that he lost out on playing him onscreen in a TV-biopic... Wednesday (2/3) in SoCal; 63.
