The sarin spraying in a suburb of Syria's capital, shown on 60 Minutes Sunday (19) thanks to eyewitnesses' cellphones, killed nearly 1500. Pelley, interviewed on the show's 'Overtime' site after the East Coast airing, said "if you don't see it, I don't believe the impact truly hits you."
