His golf-tourney coverage is reportedly unaffected.

Russillo soldiers on solo, for the non-radio-net followers...

Brian Steinberg at Variety (link) thinks an SVP SC will be closer to the late-night mainstream than most imagine... while he won't have a band, the usual theme music will be tweaked by hip-hop icon Timbaland... and estranged Bristol fave Dan Patrick will be his first guest...

I actually discovered this last night while working trivia when they promoted it during the Ohio State/Virginia Tech game. Assuming no programming overruns, they'll now do a traditional SportsCenter at 11 ET, then the Van Pelt version at midnight?

This seems to be a total 180 for Bristol, who has always, ALWAYS positioned the SC brand over the hosts (even during the "Big Show" years).

FWIW, it seems the SVP edition of SportsCenter is not rerun.  But I didn't stay up to see if it ran at 3am Eastern for a midnight Pacific audience.
