China Trip Meeting:
Any students interested in going to China this Spring Break: there will be a parent-student informational meeting from 5:00-5:30 before Back to School Night on Thursday, August 28th. This is the last chance for students to sign up for the trip.  See Mrs. Hughes for information.  For students who have already signed up, we will have a parent meeting at 5:30 to discuss fundraising and other important information. We will be finished by the 6:00 start to Back to School Night.

Student Announcements:

Reminder:  Lunch with your advisory today!

The TSAS Coffee Bar runs on your donations. If you will be enjoying coffee at school, please consider sharing disposable cups, coffee, filters, sugar and creamer. Sharing a few dollars for supplies is also appreciated.  If you have questions please see Liesa or email her at lsm...@tsas.org.

The deadline for schedule adjustments is tomorrow, Friday, August 22.  Please note, since each student has already had an individual scheduling appointment to build his/her schedule and personally select each course, the only changes that will be made at this point are to core classes; for example, a student did not get a class needed for graduation or a student would like to join an AP class. Thanks!

Anime Club will meet tomorrow during lunch.  This is for last year's members to start putting together "New Member September."

The Philbrook Museum of Art is now taking applications for their pilot program, The Collective. This is an amazing opportunity for juniors and seniors who are interested in the arts, in how artists think and work, and in forming deeper relationships with their community through art. Over a period of 2 months, a selection of high school students will meet weekly at Philbrook Downtown and:
-- Engage in art challenges
-- Gain special behind the scenes access to the Philbrook collection
-- Develop ideas for making Philbrook Downtown engaging and fun for visitors
-- In culmination of this program, participating students will build participatory programming for a Philbrook Downtown First Friday.

Applications are due no later than Sunday, August 31st, and student interviews will begin the first week of September. For more info and an application, see Foshee.

Seniors:
Senior Council elections are tomorrow (Friday) at lunch in Mama Hahn's room. If you leave the building before lunch, see Profe in her room to vote.
