Performance GRS Group,

 

Thanks once again for everyone participating in our group rides each Saturday. Out of 106 Performance locations across the country we are number 6 toward the top of the list for the best weekly average of cyclists participating in our Great Ride Series Group Ride, Yahoo!!!

 

We want to thank Scott Waterstradt for leading the intermediate group ride.  Scott is one of the main reasons we have a great following each week. This Saturday will be his last ride for 2-3 month so please join us to make him earn his keep one last time.  Thank you Scott!!!

 

Don’t be alarmed we have a new ride leader filling in for Scott. We’ll have a familiar face filling in.

 

 

GRS group rides are free to join and we keep a pace comfortable enough for any style rider. Usually Patrick brings cookies to share with all ride participants after the ride.

 

 

Beginner rides with new routes on the road utilizing bike lanes and less traveled roads.  Intermediate group holding to a 40 miles round trip. Let’s all enjoy the great riding conditions together.

Tony Woznicki leading the beginner group our 12 to 15 miles ride at a relaxed pace of 10 to 12 mph.   Cycling communication and defensive bicycling techniques reviewed prior to each ride.

 

Scott Waterstradt leading the Intermediate group, a 35 to 40 mile ride at a 15.5 to 17.5 mph pace.  Both rides are no drop and re-group frequently.

 

Be sure that everyone stops in the store to sign our safety form prior to each ride.  Helmets are required and bright clothes are highly recommended.
