Follow the Race cycling trip for the Tour of California

Don and I are signing up for the "Follow the Race" cycling trip for the Tour of California in May.  The trip catches the Tour of California on the second day (May 15) and follows it until the end (May 20).  It's a 7 day tour.  You will get an opportunity to ride sections of the race course each day, usually 40 - 60 miles over varied terrain.  Sag support is provided each day, a picnic lunch along the course each day, a Specialized carbon bike to ride and a hotel room each night.  Some dinners are also included.

The cycling trip is being put on by the Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling Tours and this is their 11th year for doing this trip.  We have never cycled with them but their rating is excellent on Trip Advisor.

We would love to have some other Triad riders join us for this epic adventure.  If you're interested and would like some more information, send me an email off list or give me a call.  Registration opened yesterday and there are a limited number of spots for the trip.

I wish I could go and ride with you guys in SB!   Santa Barbara is where I started road riding.  It's absolutely beautiful!  You guys will love it!
