Trac 0.12.5

When a new ticket is created,
no one owns it.
When it is accepted by someone (owner)
How can smtp_replyto be set so owner receives a reply
from the person who got the "ticket has been accepted"
email.

Have looked at /tracini/notification # smtp_replyto
and
http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracNotification

Is there any cli info I can pass on to our infra team,
to do their pupper\ansible magic.

I don't think it is currently possible. There is a similar request here: http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/10578

If you open a ticket, we can see about addressing the issue for an upcoming release.

Is this a separate question? I'm not able to follow.

No, just if there was some cli string option in trac,
that I could have passed to the infra team.

I went to:
[1] http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracIdeas/TracTickets
but when new ticket is clicked it bring back to:
http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/NewTicket
which seems to be more bug oriented,
and says ideas should go to [1]

Confused. //* normal for me */

It would be fine to create a new ticket for the enhancement, but we can track the issue in #10578 for now. I don't think we'll have an immediate solution for this, but it seems like a reasonable request, so I'll keep it in mind. There is effort towards improving the notification system for Trac 1.2, so we'll significant changes to Trac notifications for the first time in a while.

Rob Guttman also mentioned that: "one thing we do for such things is use dynamic fields to auto-add the owner to the cc field.  That may not be exactly what's requested here but may do the trick." The issue there is that you would be depending on the person receiving the notification to do a "Reply all".

Owners add themselves to cc at the moment,
but getting someone to "reply to all",
is ...hard.

So maybe reply to author might be the way to go
