Hi all,
I need to add the ability to make multi-selects for custom fields. This
issue's been brought up a few times before[1], but I don't think it's
been resolved.
Anyone have any tips for how to progress? As far as I am aware, the
DateFieldPlugin is the only plugin on t-h.org to add a new "type" of field.
My instinct is to use a pipe-delimited string to store multiple values
in a single row in the db, and, while this is slower than one-value per
FieldxTicket, it means I don't have to hack core (yet).
Any words of wisdom would be welcome!
Thanks,
CM Lubinski

I've submitted the MultiSelectCustomFieldsPatch [1]. Let me know what
you all think, if you get a chance to use it.
