Drop-down for owner and reporter in Create New Ticket

Hi,

I am very much new to trac.

Well I need to have a drop-down menu for Owner and Reporter fields on the "Create New Ticket" page. I read here that having a drop-down for Reporter is not possible. But that ticket is 3 years old so it might be possible that trac has added the functionality or someone has created a plugin that fulfills needs specified by me. I have attached an image with the mail to clearly depict the fields where I need to have a drop-down consisting of valid users of the system. The fields are colored in red.

Sam,

Thanks for the response. Well, I came across this link before posting
here. I have given Ticket_Modify permission to the concerned users. Do
I need to restart any service after doing so? Also it says that the
user needs to be registered with the project. Where can I find the
details about which project(s) the user is assigned to?

The OS used is Ubuntu 11.04 (in case it matters).
