It is possible to use a calendar to input the start date and end date GanttPlugin? I'm using version Trac1.0 and entry of dates is literal. type: 2012-09-01

I think you are asking for a jQuery DatePicker for the `current day` field, and perhaps other fields, like the DateFieldPlugin provides (1). Is that correct?

It would be easy enough to generate a patch. Take a look at the DateFieldPlugin, and recent work on the Trac core for guidance (2, 3)

I use a calendar pop-up plugin, but I fail to instantly find it on
trac-hacks.org now. I don't remember from 2 years back, if I found it
somewhere else.

So go better go for something from DateFieldPlugin based on jQueryUI as
hinted by Ryan before. This seems like the future even for Trac core anyway.

The
"datefieldplugin" does not display the current date highlighted. There is how to enable this?

Thank you!

CalendarPopUpPlugin? The author discontinued the project after discussing with doki_pen and I that it was equivalent to DateFieldPlugin.

I enabled highlighting the current day just now in [12118]. However, it doesn't stand out with the theme in 0.12, and didn't seem to have any effect in 0.11. See screen capture below from 0.12. The selected day is Oct 4, and the current day is Oct 6, which is highlighted in a very subtle way.

Yes, that's it.

It was my favorite, because I hacked Trac and used true custom time
fields at that time, so just needed a date-picker - nothing else, and
DateFieldPlugin was not as easy to convince to lend it's date-picker for
ticket field type 'time'.

Anyway, I don't miss it, because it still works as is here for now, and
I'll be on Trac-1.1dev with it's own date-picker soon.
