Hi all,

I've got a question regarding the TRAC database schema 0.12.
Following the link (http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracDev/
DatabaseSchema) I found the schema for Trac version 0.11. I've
inserted the missing tables (cache and repository) in the existing
schema. What I need is a feedback from you, if it's correct what I've
done. So if someone of you would be so kind to have a look at my
entity-relationship-diagramm it would be great!

I found no way to attach the png-file of my diagram to this message,
so I will send it to someone who wants to have a look for it.

Thank you in advance!

Feel free to attach it directly to TracDev/DatabaseSchema and then:
- wrap the existing schema in a 0.11 section
- add a 0.12 section for your schema, with a caveat that it's not yet
reviewed and "validated" by trac devs

Same ;-)

Thank you for your reply;-) I'll try to attach it to TracDev/
DatabaseSchema!
I've another question about the implicite object "users" as a central
instance in the Trac database schema. What is the main function of
that?

Hi Roland,

Some feedback on your schema:
  • I believe the report table is part of the ticket functionality. After all, a ticket report shows a list of tickets...
  • It seems some tables are missing some fields. Can it be that their views are not expanded? (triangle pointing right instead of below)
  • I believe the "implicit object users" is not actually part of TRAC. Both the user and his/her password are stored and handled by the web server (e.g. Apache password file, Active Directory or LDAP).
