Hi all,

I do have a few feature requests for TW5 and want to know what other users think about these requests.

Request 1)
Open all tags.
One of the features in TW classis is: Open all tags when clicking on a tag in a tiddler (or in the sidebar: Tags).
In one click you can open all relevant tagged tiddlers.
AFAIK it is not available in TW5.

Request 2)
Blockquotes.
Another "classic" feature is: blockquotes.
As
> blockquote
or
<<<
blockquote
<<<
Also, AFAIK it is not available in TW5.
At the moment I "misuse" the second part of the definition list (":") for it.
; Term being defined
: Definition of that term

Request 3)
Text color of tags.
Adjusting the "text" color of tags.
At the moment you can change the back-ground color of a tag, but AFAIK not the text color.
It means you only can use "dark" colors with white text.

Request 4)
A Favicon.
The possibility to add a favicon to distinguish the TW5's in your browser.
This is extremely useful, especially in Firefox where you can use 'Pin Tab' and you then only see the favicon.
I understood there is no equivalent of TW Classic's MarkupPreHead (yet).
Maybe there is a workaround?

What do you think of these requests?

Cheers,

Ton

Hi Ton

Thanks for the feedback.

It is planned. The idea is that you'll be able to open (or drag) all the tiddlers matched by a filter expression with a single click. I've created an issue:

Likewise, just not done yet. I'm a heavy user of blockquotes too. I've created an issue:

; Term being defined
: Definition of that term

Request 3)

I'm not so sure about this one. We could introduce another field for it, but it makes the mechanism more complex, and I think that a list of tags where some are in black type and some are white type will look weird. I'm open to discussion; it's just a template change.

Request 4)
A Favicon.

Yes, I plan to have a site icon tiddler that is automatically rendered to the favicon. I've created a ticket:

Very helpful, thank you.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for answering.

About the text color of tags, see https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2638511/ColorChart.html
This is the ColorChart that was once at Eric Shulman's site, but I cannot find it anymore there. So I made a demo so you can see how it looks with black/white text.

Cheers,

Ton
