sending email from a tiddler

I find myself more and more composing emails in TW5.

Having composed an email I then go into gmail

start composing a new email then cut-and-paste the

tiddler text into the email (not the rendered text - the

raw tiddler text)

It would be nice to automate this -

is this possible?

In theory one could make a plugin for TW that takes a tiddler and wraps the HTML "<a mailto..." tag around it. This would generate a link that, when you click it, opens your desktop's email client (you get a dialog box confirming you actually want to do this) with the content pre-populated. See https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_link_mailto for an example.

I'm not skilled enough to know if/how one could do this with webmail.

P.S. (edit) now that you made me think of it, I could actually use what I just described. I'm using Note Self (a tool built on TW5) as my own version of OneNote/EverNote and having a "email this tiddler" could be darn handy.

It is perfectly possible to compose in TW and immediately pass the text to an email program.

you can use google form for sending emails.

I copied the button, stylesheet and email.svg tiddlers, but it doesn't appear in my tiddlers like it does in the example TW (I'm just trying to get the email thing to work)
