Updating from 2.5 fails

Hi!
I just wanted to update from 2.5 using FF14 on WinDOS 7. This is what I tried:
1. Selected "Upgrade" in backstage Result was "Error with the new core code"
2. Loaded an empty.zip and tried to import my previous tiddlyfile, residing in the same directory. Error was "Error retrieving tiddlers from url, please ensure this url exists and is CORS enabled"
Any help would be appreciated.

I solved it on my own.
I simply downloaded 2.6 and opened it in Safari on OS X.
Then I imported everything I wanted to keep.
I also tried opening my old TiddlyWiki and to upgrade it It worked, but as I had several plugins I didn't want anymore, I chose the other way.
