Hello there!

I've been using tiddlywiki for a few weeks, online only hosted on
tiddlyspot. I can download my wiki as a file, and save things in that
file, but I cannot upload it back online. I merely says that the main
file is saved and it is going to upload. This 'going to upload' never
changes to 'uploaded.'

What should I do? Thank you!

Sorry I can't help more specifically, but it may help others if you specify your OS and browser, including versions.

Oh, that would be a good way to start, wouldn't it?

Windows 7 Home Premium
Service Pack 1

My browser's Pale Moon 8.0, a firefox tweak for PC.

I think the UploadPlugin currently provided by tiddlyspot is broken in
Firefox. I seem to remember someone in the group posted a fix and was
trying to get it updated on tiddlyspot.com but I don't know what
happened to it. Does anyone in the group remember?

Upload doesn't work with latest browsers anymore, due to security
restrictions.
I use good old FF 3.6.x to upload from a file to tiddlyspot. FF 3.6.x
still gets security patches so it should be save to use. For normal
work you can use any browser.

PMario, thanks so much! I went back and got the older version of
Firefox and now it seems that uploading works fine.

And just in case you need to also run an updated FF, the older versions in "portable mode" are available via googling, this allows you to run the new one kept up to date in your registry, and a TW-specific version from any arbitrary location that doesn't touch the registry. The old Prism extension also works that way if you want to make TW look like a standalone app with stripped-down nav elements from FF, gets its own launch icon etc.
