Merging tiddlers within one Tiddlywiki

Is there a way to merge two different tiddlers of one Tiddlywiki
similar to the the merging option when you import a Tiddler of the
same Name from another Tiddlywiki file, so that one new tiddler
emerges from two having one title and texts, tagging and tags list
from both?

I'm looking at the same question and so far am guessing that exporting filtered tiddlers to a 'holding' file then importing to a single tiddler may be the method I should to try.
Erics search options and match tags plugins write a list of titles within a single tiddler so there may be a way to have them write contents as well as just the titles. I think the search options plugin works from within the tiddler you're working within so you don't have to close set up your request then resume your work.
Have you had any success in this area?
