I'm happy to announce another update to my mGSD Enhancements.  This incorporates all the feedback I've (very gratefully) received from you, and hopefully all the appropriate bugfixes!

Four major changes:
  • New Touch / Tablet theme!
mGSDEnhanced is now quite comfortable when using your fingers on a touch screen.  I've been developing this using 3 Android devices: a 7" 1280x800 tablet, a 6" 800x600 Sony eInk reader, and a 4" 500x900 (or so) Motorola phone.  It's quite (mostly) usable, and I'd value any feedback.
  • Fixes to allow Attendees to be more automatically added to their meetings

Previously, you would add an Attendee to a meeting and then have to add that Attendee's name (tiddler title) to the Meeting as a tag.  This "back-reference" is now created automatically, making adding attendees a proper 1-click process.

  • Fixes to show a Project's References, Actions, and Ticklers properly in a Meeting Tiddler.

A Meeting Tiddler would previously show an empty list of References, Actions and Ticklers, which I'm sure annoyed you as much as me.  This is now fixed, to give you a quick glance of what's going on in your Project while you're holding a meeting (and viewing it's Tiddler).  This saves you from having to jump between Meeting and Project Tiddlers while holding a meeting.

  • Re-worked Sidebars and Tabs for a quicker, less cluttered Intake and Review process.

There are now three main tabs: "Intake", "Review", and "Tiddlers".  "Intake" allows you to quickly add Tiddlers of any kind to your Inbox, while "Review" puts the most convenient views of your Actions and Projects out in front, with a useful selection of additional views in nested sliders.  Pay special attention to "My Tasks" and the "Delegated Tasks Dashboard" once you get a large number of Actions pass around amongst your teams!

As always, get the latest empty file here: http://thinkcreatesolve.biz/mGSDEnhancements-empty.html (right-click, save link or save as).

If you'd like to update your existing mGSDEnhanced TW, you can now import the latest changes from the following PureStore Export: http://thinkcreatesolve.biz/mGSDEnhancements-export.html (right-click, save link or save as)

To read about or try the latest greatest version, go to http://thinkcreatesolve.biz - and please tell your friends!

I'll try to reply to any issues here, elsewhere in this forum, or if you email me personally.

Best regards,
David Szego

Hi David

I'm unable to save via Firefox 16.02 (with TiddlyFox - it doesn't seem to be recognized as a TW...) - same problem with chromium.
When I load it via TWS (small node.js server ) I get a lot of errors in Midori, Firefox and Chromium - it won't even show.
I've tried downloading it from all three browsers - same result.
I guess something is wrong with the document?

Unfortunately, this seems to be hitting everyone in the TW ecosystem... Firefox changed their permissions as of version 15.  I'm using FF14 for all my TW needs, as even Jeremy's excellent TiddlyFox extension isn't catching all TW's I load.

I'm not familiar with TWS, but I suspect it's just easier to carry a USB stick with Portable Firefox 14 for Mac/Windows/Linux, and all my TW files!

If you can host your mGSDEnhanced file somewhere, it does have the UploadPlugin (see http://thinkcreatesolve.biz/mGSDEnhancements.html#UploadPluginDoc or your UploadPluginDoc Tiddler for details) which works in any FF version (so far!)

Cheers,
David.

I've just posted a fix to TiddlyFox which should enable it to work properly with mGSD. Download it from the usual place:

The problem was that the use of Google Analytics was preventing TiddlyFox from recognising mGSD as a TiddlyWiki,

Best wishes

Jeremy

Hello David,

I've been using mGSD for a while, first for my personal tasks, then for my projects at work, but I'm searching for additional features more oriented to project management, not only GTD...

Your dGSD looks great and I want to start testing it, but I have a lot of content in a mGSD format, then, what is the best way to export it to a dGSD?
(I'm using a mGSD v3.1.9 beta)

Best regards,

Domingo

dGSD looks great, I want to switch from my mGSD to dGSD! but I can't update from mGSD 3.9.2. :(
Tried import-browse (netscape error), and import path (hangs on opening hte workspace). I looked around on this forum, and haven't found anything thing else then try an old version of firefox. Isn't there another way??

Hi all, for those who are having trouble importing on Firefox v.New (anything 15+), my best advice is to grab a copy of Portable Firefox for Windows 14.0.1 from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Mozilla%20Firefox%2C%20Portable%20Ed./Mozilla%20Firefox%2C%20Portable%20Edition%2014.0.1/

...and put it on a USB stick along with your TiddlyWiki and the export file you want to import.

You should probably also load any copy of Firefox up with the TiddlyFox extension from:
https://github.com/TiddlyWiki/TiddlyFox/blob/master/tiddlyfox.xpi

No doubt, a Windows box will be "within reach" not too far, and you can load with #start:safe and import as before.

Wish I could help more, but it's a limitation of new security rules in Firefox and most browsers.  This affects any import / saving for the whole TiddlyWiki ecosystem.

Cheers,
David.

I've just tried mGSD and have the save error message problem with tje following browsers under Linix
   * Konquer under KDE4
   * Firefox v20 with and without tiddlyfox
   * Chromium

I've tried this with and without TiddlySaver.jar in the directory.

I've looked inside the copy of mGSD I have and there is no mention of Google Analytics in it.

The file has
var version = {title: "TiddlyWiki", major: 2, minor: 6, revision: 5, date: new Date("October 6, 2011"), extensions: {}};

and the update doesn't work because it can't be saved.

All of a sudden I'm concerned that this might be 'infectious' and my other TiddlyWikis will come down with it.
