Correcting myself after I open two tabs and modify the same wiki?

Determining the newest? backup when doing something stupid like opening a tiddlywiki in more than one tab...modifying them both and saving the older version?

Here is my directory listing sorted by date.

I noticed some changes in my wiki started disappearing in the index.html file, and I also noticed that these changes reappeared in the file index.20120518.1324255810.20120523.1334568390.html

I feel really stupid, but I don't know how to determine which of the 

index.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxx.html  

...files is the one I saved when I mistakenly opened a backup and saved it, or mistakenly saved an old version of the file...

I'm so embarrassed about this...I've been using Tiddlywiki for like 5 years and I've never had this happen, but how would one go about determining where they made the mistake in a mess like this?

TiddlyWiki backs up files by adding a date/time stamp to the
filename. The first part of the timestamp (e.g., "20120524") is the
date, using format "YYYYMMDD" (year,month,date). The second part of
the timestamp (following the ".") is the current time-of-day using
format "HHMMSSmmm0" (hours,minutes,seconds,milliseconds, plus a
trailing "0")

Thus, if you are editing "index.html", backup files will have names
like
index.20120524.2037553000.html

However, in your directory listing, you also have files with names
like:
index.20120518.1324255810.20120518.1557503580.html

This indicates that you, at some point, *directly* opened a backup
file named
index.20120518.1324255810.html
and then edited/saved it, resulting in the double timestamp in the
filename.

When you started editing the backup file directly, you essentially
"forked" your document. Changes made to the main file are being saved
to 'index.html', while changes made to the backup are being saved to
index.20120518.1324255810.html ... and, of course, each file save
creates a corresponding backup (with the added timestamp).

Note that the initial timestamp, "20120518.1324255810", is the same
for all these backup files, but the second timestamp varies based on
when the file was saved. You should be able to use the timestamp
information in the backup filenames to re-construct a timeline of
changes you have made, and then hand-merge content from the above two
files to re-unify the divergent revisions.

Keep a backup, but could you not import all the tiddlers from each iteration into a single tiddlywiki until you had the same result ?
