As advised, I am moving from TiddlyWiki and now using TiddlySpace.

I edited the tiddler SiteInfo, however it changed also the GettingStarted tiddler and now I've lost the information. Why is SiteInfo interchangeably with GettingStarted? Shouldn't it be a different tiddler and content? I believe there is a way to retrieve the information back.

Do you use the default theme?

Yes, I do. Haven't change any theme yet. Should be different contents when tiddlers are not the sama.

If you use the default theme and didn't include othere spaces,
GettingStarted shouldn't be changed if you change SiteInfo tiddler.

Some spaces transclude the SiteInfo tiddler into the GettingStarted
like so <<tiddler SiteInfo>>, which is called a transclusion. This may
happen, but not with the default theme.

The Information isn't lost, it may be just hidden. ...

Can you point us to the space, so we can have a look?

Still can't find the missing content. My space is astroiseur @tiddlyspace and I did include tiddlyace. Am still exploring how it will affect my space.

yup.
tiddlyace is one of those spaces and the include mechanism has a
somewhat nasty side effect here.

To get it fixed, just go to the backstage: include area

* remove the system-info space
* include the system-info space again.
* reload the page

With TiddlySpace the include order is relevant.
The fix takes care that system-info is the last space in the space
"creation chain" and it will set the GettingStarted to be default
again.

I'll file an issue / suggestion about best practice at tiddlyspace
github.

have fun!
